Investment casting turbines refer to alloy turbine components for high temperature environments manufactured by investment casting processes.

Investment casting, also known as lost wax casting or investment casting, is a precision casting process. In the investment casting process, a precision model of the turbine is first made, usually using refractory materials. The model is then wrapped in a ceramic case to form a complete investment model.

Next, the wax pattern inside the model is allowed to flow out by melting it in a high-temperature furnace, leaving an overmold shell with a cavity. The superalloy material, such as a nickel-based alloy, is then melted and poured into the investment shell, filling the cavity and forming the turbine's final shape. After the material cools, the investment shell is broken or melted to obtain the final superalloy turbine.

The investment casting process provides the precise turbine shape and internal channel structure, resulting in turbines with excellent performance and dimensional accuracy. Due to the good heat resistance and mechanical properties of superalloys, investment casting superalloy turbines can still maintain stab le performance in high temperature and high pressure working environments.
